Each government school in Victoria is allocated 4 Pupil Free Days (Curriculum Days) by the Department of Education and Training. Parents or guardians will be advised through the newsletter of the dates of the pupil free days. Students do not attend school on these days.
Teachers are on duty in the school grounds from 8.35am and it is appreciated that students do not arrive at school before this time. It is advisable to have students at school no later than 8.50am to ensure they are adequately prepared for their day. All classrooms are open and the students (and parents) are able to enter the building at 8.50am. This allows the students 10 minutes in which to put their bag away, change their reader and organise themselves for a 9.00am start.
On the last day of school for Term 1, 2 and 3, students are dismissed at 2.30pm.
On the last day of Term 4, students are dismissed at 1.30pm.
